AVENCHES CELTIC MUSIC FESTIVAL
The Celtic Music Festival of Avenches is not a typical musical event where you see the performers from afar on a large stage. It is more like a small village festival where the musicians are up close and personal.
Our wish is to present a full and unforgettable experience for all those who come to our event. We offer you something for your eyes, ears and stomach as we celebrate the wide range of Celtic music, dance, food and drink. We take great pride in the musical portion of our program as it features some of the greatest traditional musicians in the world. We want you all to enjoy the festival on the most personal level so come meet, talk and even have a drink with the musicians. Many of them are well known for their performances at the world renowned Tattoos of Edinburgh and Basel as well as at some of the most famous concert venues in the world. Masters of the Highland bagpipes, fiddle, Irish pipes, drums, guitar, flute, fife and song also featuring traditional dancers to dazzle your eyes.
